Pointe-à-Callière's Port Symphonies

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28 AND MARCH 7 AT 1:30 P.M.

A composition by Pierre Labbé, with the participation of Michel Faubert.

For this outdoor concert, boats, trains, and other urban instruments will unite their sounds to the voice of storyteller Michel Faubert in an original work by composer Pierre Labbé. Entitled Sound Waves, this symphony takes its inspiration from popular francophone legends from North America and from oral tradition. In Place Royale, where rumours begin, the storyteller and three musicians will accompany the unexpected sounds from these enormous transient instruments.
